Coordinate canvass and grassroots campaigns for Washington's leading environmental advocacy nonprofit. Oversees street canvassing and fundraising operations for 2017 and 2018 Summer and Winter campaign cycles. Recruited and trained 1700 canvassing shifts and built team of 9 full-time field organizers to raise awareness and money for campaigns to defend federal EPA funding, ban single-use plastic bags in WA state, ban neonicotinoid pesticides, and fight corporate pollution across the country. Oversaw grassroots and fundraising operations of the 2016 Summer and 2017 Winter campaign cycles. Recruited and trained a team of ten-fifteen core field organizers and fundraisers to raise awareness and money for social change and environmental campaigns. Co-directed citizen outreach office to raise over $240,000 for campaigns to stop prophylaxis use of antibiotics on factory farms, ban the use of neonicotinoid-based pesticides, and call on Texan Senators Cruz and Cornyn to reject rollbacks of environmental protections. Non-canvass related work:-Oversaw office payroll operations-Oversaw recruitment realm of office as Recruitment Director-Oversaw campaign realm of office as Campaign Director-Organized and featured in two press conferences as TexPIRG's stand-in director for the release of annual Trouble In Toyland Report. Advocated alongside Congressman Lloyd Doggett to state and local media outlets for greater consumer protections against toys posing choking and lead hazards to toddlers and young children. Called for increase of federal funds to be appropriated for Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.-Lobbied to Texas State Legislature for establishment of Pollinator Health Committee and the ban of neonicotinoid-based insecticides on public state lands.

Led a 12 week ethnographic case study on Pure Land Buddhist revival in a monastic context. This research was funded by a Global Research Fellowship, currently referred to as the Global Research Support Program, provided by Mount Holyoke College McCulloch Center for Global Initiatives. The ethnography was independently organized and conducted entirely in Mandarin Chinese. It consisted of 30 individual interviews with the temple’s visitors, laypeople, and monks. As a participant-observer, I volunteered as a translator, cleaner, gardener, dishwasher, and “Promulgation Department (发行部)” assistant. This research culminated in a LEAP Symposium Presentation, Thesis Independent Study and a multi-chaptered ethnographic report at Mount Holyoke College.

Residential Coordination and Marketing Internship for gphomestay, Inc, a homestay provider for international students studying in the US, and daughter company of CIEE. Booked and attended recruitment events, department meetings, and worked with a team of Marketing Analysts to develop new marketing strategies.

Program Management Intern for The Cambridge Institute of International Education (CIEE), a Chinese American Study Abroad company. Monitored student applicant interviews, organized and edited the database, corrected documents, researched products and servers to purchase, booked events, and gave simple English translations from Mandarin Chinese.
