With 12 years of progressive leadership experience in the humanitarian and non profit sectors, I currently serve as the Executive Director of Disability Alliance BC (DABC), a provincial non-profit organization and registered charity that advocates for the rights and dignity of people with disabilities. I specialize in humanitarian mine action, monitoring and evaluation, and disability inclusive programming. At DABC, I lead our organization of 35 dedicated staff who provide advocacy, legal representation, tax filing, housing and income support services to people with disabilities, as well as influence policy and legislation to increase accessibility in society. I also serve as vice chair on the board of Mines Action Canada, a national non profit that works to end the humanitarian and environmental harm caused by landmines, cluster munitions, and other explosive ordnance.Certified to International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) level 1 and IMAS Humanitarian Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) level 1
