My academic background in nutrition, epidemiology, and translational medicine includes research experience at Cambridge, Harvard, and the Dutch Cancer Institute, where I completed my PhD. I also have over 8 years of R&D experience in industry, leading projects to translate science into practical solutions. I have an in-depth understanding of metabolic and inflammatory diseases in chronic conditions like diabetes and cancer, and extensive experience working within interdisciplinary teams that bridge academia, clinical research, and industry.
