A highly motivated scientist with several years experience in the fields of microbiology and molecular biology. I have worked in both research and diagnostic labs as a research scientist, and genetic technologist. I have attained a range of analytical laboratory methods including, PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, mutational analysis, MALDI-TOF, media prep, bacteria & yeast cell culture, chemical residue analysis, proficiency testing, and excellent aseptic technique. I am efficient, well organised , can work with minimal supervision but enjoy being part of a busy collaborative team. I have a passion for science and a strong desire to continuously learn and develop as a scientist.
