I have 30 years in the IT industry with 24 years' experience in the public sector working with leaders of schools, multi academy trusts, LA’s and all educational phases from K-12, through to higher education. In all my positions in addition to acquiring new business, I have been responsible for effectively managing existing customer relationships. I take pride in upholding high standards to ensure customer retention and seeking opportunities to upsell and cross sell other products and services. As the day-to-day point of contact, I have worked closely with C-suite executives and other senior leaders, addressing escalations and handling various matters to maintain strong client connections.The solutions I have been involved with span across hardware and network implementations, curriculum software, communication platforms and safeguarding solutions. These have been of a consultative approach including negotiations and overcoming objections. Being a team player is really important for me as well as having the ability to work alone. To have the opportunity to share knowledge and swap ideas and experiences, whether this is to explore and discuss different possibilities or just being able to support colleagues to ensure success for everyone.
