My role involved relationship building and gaining the trust of suppliers by offering robust solutions at a competitive rate. I negotiated contracts with Suppliers and 3rd party hauliers. The KPI’s were account retention and growth of supplier business, focussed on availability and waste reduction.Building on existing supplier relationships and Supply Chain experience, I delivered cost savings while increasing the ambient portfolio of accounts by 300%.I attended Supplier Conferences and Logistics conferences to keep up to date with leaner logistics models and world-class best practices.
