I’ve always had an inquiring and analytical mind, and this passion led me to science and drove me to become a recognised expert in my field of Biotech Research. My appetite for discovery, and desire to analyse and create solutions has stayed with me throughout my career and bought me to the field of systems solutions, excelling at developing processes and integrating systems to create complete company ecosystems.Today, I’m still doing what I love as a project manager for a biotech startup company who are targeting GPR35 for treatment of digestive system cancers.Previously, as a Systems Lead for a start-up charity platform, I worked with key business stakeholders and internal and external technical staff to develop bespoke systems, integrate new technologies and ensure the smooth running of all technical services.Successes achieved throughout my career include:-Winning the 2020 Silver Special Judges Award for Innovation for transforming charitable giving & enabling the distribution of £20M to over 2000 organisations with the design & build of an online charity matching platform-Enabling a successful client move from offline local retail to online retail with the design and build of new website using HTML coding, PHP, Adobe Design Suite and WordPress technology -Filing patents on over 20 constructs and became recognised ‘expert’ in the identification of novel gene sequences from the Human Genome Project at SmithKline Beecham Biopharmaceutical ResearchWhen I’m not designing and improving business systems, I enjoy volunteering in the local community.I love to connect with people from all walks of life, so if you want to get in touch about systems solutions, new opportunities, or volunteer work please don’t hesitate to send me a message.
