Lead the People & Culture team: 5 Business Partners and 2 Officers. Managed general staff matters as well IR, talent acquisition and partnering with L&D and WHS. Implemented new HR processes in the employment cycle, reviewed and developed HR policies / procedures. Provided support to staff through a large restructure of two of Council's directorates. Participated in the WHS Committee, Staff Consultative Committee and the USU Delegates meetings. I acted for the Manager People & Culture for a month.

Manage staff matters regarding IR, WHS, equity across the organisation in all aspects, creating choices for staff to have life balance. Developing new and innovative programs or support programs for staff and management. In my role I attend the Senior Management Meetings as well as take minutes, Secretary of the Staff Consultative Committee, Chair the Gender Equity Team meetings, member of the Infrastructure Working Party, member of the Asbestos Working Party (staff & councillors) and Steering Committee (staff), member of WHS Committee.From 7 March 2009 to December 2011 was acting Manager Media Relations as well as MHR. Enjoyed this role immensely - ran my first event 'PetFest' and then a number of smaller events, dealt with the media and wrote media releases.From 7 October 2014 am once again managing both HR and PR.I have been a mentor for women who have participated in the Springboard Program, also have mentored young students as part of the Lighthouse Program through the Catholic Diocese.I have had the opportunity to act as Director Corporate & Financial Services, Director Library & Community Services and Department Head Engineering Services.I also act as General Manager's Section Head whenever GM is away.
