Hi! I’m Helen Connor, originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. I’m currently majoring in Advertising and Public Relations at UNC’s Hussman School of Journalism and Media, with a minor in the Shuford Entrepreneurship Program. My studies reflect my passion for creativity and strategic communication, especially within the fast-paced world of public relations.Outside the classroom, I’ve been gaining valuable hands-on experience as a Digital PR Intern at Go Fish Digital. In this role, I’ve had the opportunity to plan and implement creative content campaigns, conduct research to uncover content marketing opportunities and brainstorm innovative ideas for clients. My work also involves promoting content online, analyzing data to identify key trends, and drafting copy for blogs and websites. This experience has further deepened my understanding of how communication strategies shape public perception and drive engagement.I’m also passionate about painting, a creative outlet I’ve loved since I was young.
