I currently work full time in a busy mixed private and NHS practice in south bristol

As part of my Dental Core Training I spent 5 months working on the paediatric department in the Bristol Dental Hospital. This was a thoroughly enjoyable placement where I was able to broaden my understanding and skills. In this time I was involved in not only paediatric, but orthodontic assessment clinics, treatment of patients with the use of inhalation sedation and GA and providing care for trauma patients and medically compromised children.

I spent 7 months working in the Bristol Dental Hospital and Bristol Royal Infirmary as a Maxillofacial SHO.In this time I honed my minor oral surgery skills and completed surgical extractions and biopsies under GA and IV sedation. I also worked in accident and emergency in the BRI, treating patients with acute presentations; including dental and facial trauma, localised and systemic infections, and post operative complications.

I completed my VT year in South Bristol gaining experience in general practice, providing NHS and private care.
