Dr Helen Drury founded Mathematics Mastery to empower teachers to bring research evidence to classroom practice. The programme has proof of significant impact from an Education Endowment Foundation randomised controlled trial and has built a national collaborative partnership of over 500 primary and secondary schools. Helen is an experienced maths teacher and leader, and government advisor on curriculum and assessment. She holds a PhD in maths education, has written several books on evidence-informed teaching and is a member of the Royal Society’s Advisory Committee on Mathematics Education. She is Dean of Maths Excellence with Purposeful Ventures and Executive Director of Education at Ark Curriculum Plus.
