I am an experienced Senior Leader who helps organizations develop and achieve strategic goals efficiently, practically and cost-consciously. I excel at establishing high-performing and cross-functional teams and building internal/external coalitions that further organizational goals. I have delivered multimillion-dollar bottom-line growth using multidisciplinary skill sets, including advocacy, fundraising, communications, and legal analysis. I built, from scratch, the health and fitness industry's first government relations and legal services programs that grew to cover state, federal and international legislation and policy. Under my leadership, we successfully defended the interests of small businesses and promoted efforts to make the world healthier through access to regular exercise. Our track record in defending small business interests was almost perfect. Increasing physical activity is still a work in progress.Our public affairs work at IHRSA improved people's lives by bringing the mental and physical benefits of physical activity to more people around the globe. Each year on the job brought new challenges and opportunities. Faced with the challenges posed by COVID, I honed my ability to drive organizational transformation through innovation, technology, and, most importantly, leveraging people and building trust. I loved my job at IHRSA. I want to bring my experience and use my passion to help a new organization achieve its goals.
