Helen is now retired from Edinburgh Napier Business School, but retains her role as Professor Emeritus, People and Organisation. A champion of research-led teaching and consultancy, she has spearheaded various developments that successfully bridge academic and practitioner interests and concerns, and in recent years worked as a Visiting Professor at the University of St Andrews and University of Strathclyde . Her work in recent years, placed a spotlight on e-HRM transformation, the employee-line manager relationship, and workplace conversations in shaping peoples’ experiences of engagement at the workplace.
