About Helen Gardner

I have extensive administration experience within a variety of environments including offshore banking and the motor industry. This varied experience gives me a breadth of knowledge and understanding, and the ability to adapt and learn quickly. My work has included dealing with sensitive information in a confidential manner and building and maintaining relationships with all levels of colleagues right up to director level.My time at Kimbolton School gave me a good basis on which to develop as a person. It gave me the tools to become an independent and efficient worker with attention to detail but also moulded me to be someone with a good work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills. Although I did not choose to obtain a degree from school, instead wanting to gain practical experience in the working environment as opposed to studying for the sake of it, I opted to enrol on the part time Law Degree programme at the University of Buckingham in 2014. I fully immersed myself in my studies over the four years, alongside raising a family of two very active boys. This determination and work ethic rewarded me with a First Class Honours on completion of the course in 2019.Away from work and education, I have been a regional representative for the Scoliosis Association UK since 2006, offering support to both members and the small office team in London. Having had personal experience of Scoliosis, myself having corrective surgery at the age of 16, I am in a good position to be able to understand the situation both parents and children find themselves in and can be empathetic towards their needs. I am also a Trustee and Committee Member for Rugby Gymnastics Club, where you can find me most days!
