I am an energetic and capable entrepreneur with clear-sighted vision, innate business acumen and marketing expertise, specialising in the digital arena.Social Jam was born out of my vision to revolutionise social media management and empower brands to thrive in the digital age. As the founder and CEO of Bold Craft Marketing, an award winning digital marketing agency, I, Helen Gavin, along with my team created Social Jam, a platform to support social media managers. Through my hands-on experience managing social media and social media teams for businesses, I realised that providing a piece of technology to empower businesses to automate their own social media content production and performance was essential to addressing the digital skills gap and driving real economic growth.With nearly two decades of business experience, I bring a wealth of leadership, project management, and technical expertise. My journey has allowed me to hone skills in leadership, technological innovation, sales, marketing, HR, and operational management. My expertise spans diverse sectors and international markets, including retail, media, education, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, tech, engineering, and state agencies. I possess knowledge of multiple technologies, including Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, Learning Language Models, SQL Database, BigQuery, back-end development, front-end development, UX/UI design, and a deep understanding of brand development and communications, digital marketing, online consumer behavior, digital paid and organic channel management and marketing, website development, and search engine optimisationIn addition to my professional accomplishments, I am deeply committed to the community. As President of the Westport Chamber of Commerce from November 2019 to December 2022, I demonstrated leadership and dedication to community development. In recognition of my contributions during this period, I received the Outstanding Young Person Award from JCI Ireland in 2020.In 2024 I completed a 630km Cycle from Mizen to Malin with 16 other inspiring Westport Women, in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice and The Mayo Rape Crisis Centre.
