It’s been two years since I said a fond farewell to colleagues, Clients, friends and acquaintances at BLM and took a leap of faith towards my exciting ‘second act’.After a few months off, I embraced some crucial objectives for the things that really mattered, particularly making time for family and friends not forgetting my two amazing dogs! I employed an inspirational career coach who helped me reflect on the past and guided me on how I wanted my professional life to look going forward.Alongside consulting with Weightmans, a brilliant forward-thinking and collegiate law firm I’m a volunteer of a local charity, chair of RemCo at a large Independent school and mentor to a wonderful & ambitious law graduate in Washington DC.I’m really excited to announce that I’m also about to launch my own conflict resolution business Integrity Conflict Solutions jointly with Madeleine Kelly who I’ve known for over 40 years. We complement each other perfectly, we’re both from similar professional backgrounds: we understand conflict and its importance to those involved in mitigating its impact or, better still, avoiding it completely. We’re distinct yet with diverse skills and experience from many years working with individuals, teams, and boards.Unresolved conflict costs UK businesses £1k per employee every year and causes those involved, stress and increased management time.
