Responsible for IFC’s climate advisory business in Asia. Leading regional advisory teams to deliver on climate impact targets by working closely with government, regulators, financial institutions and private enterprises to spur private sector investment into energy-efficient and renewable-energy markets. Advising and helping banks and non-bank financial institutions to develop transformation strategy and business plan leveraging green as differentiator to strengthen the bank’s competitiveness and financial sustainability. Working with cross-disciplinary teams spanning multiple geographies and cultures on engagements with market leading global financial services firms. Playing a leading role in all aspects of business development and IFC client relationship management, penetrating new market key clients and growing existing clients into broader opportunities and additional sales. • Acted in a project-specific role to help develop the China Utility-Based Energy Efficiency Finance Program (CHUEE) in partnership with Chinese banks, regulators and government.• Worked closely with the regional product leader and the regional financial markets portfolio manager in developing training programs for IFC’s investee banks in China in an effort to encourage Energy Efficiency Lending in China• Facilitated training and seminars for IFC’s investee banks in China• Acted in a senior advisory role in IFC’s investee banks in China • Acted to enhance risk management strategy, procedures and practices in IFC's investee banks in China.
