Assistant to the main teacher. Led storytime with the kids, assessed their classwork and co-curricular activities, and managed day-to-day class duties.

- For one year, I provided homeschooling to my child, utilizing diverse materials and resources that fostered fine and gross motor skills, sensory development, and socio-emotional growth.- Educational toys that stimulated basic language and numerical skills were also incorporated into the curriculum.- I formulated a daily schedule and routine that accommodated both of us, allowing for collaborative learning as well as independent play and learning time.

● Created and promoted early childhood worksheets for math, reading, creative, environmental, and religious activities for 4 – 9-year-olds.● Conceptualised, produced, published, and distributed my own children’s magazine. ● Managed writers, printers, and customers as I worked on all aspects of the project. ● Interviewed young readers to get a take on their view of the magazine, and what content they would want included. ● Additionally, communicated with primary school principals who helped create an avenue to market the magazine.

● I was the writer and producer of the show, providing content for the presenters and sourcing for filming locations. ● With Veritable Writers, an online content creating firm, I have been working as an editor of the content produced by their writers.● Giving direction to presenters and producing content for them was a task I easily and happily took on. ●With Veritable Writers, I worked on keeping deadlines and delivering the work.

● Handled editing text for grammatical errors, reviewing sentence structure, making sure information in the document flowed, and formatting text for a clean, easy read.● Came up with layouts for both documents using InDesign. ● Additionally, KAWP requested designs for a dinner invitation card and program.● It was wonderful working for such a renowned organization that supports women and recognizes their contribution to society. ● They loved the editorial and design work for the entire project, which was a great achievement on my end.

● Sift through information gathered and came up with a report that was comprehensive, interesting, informative and clear enough for sponsors to understand. ● It included graphs as well to depict financial expenditure and the Project’s progress. The task involved a bit of travelling.● A lot of teamwork was required, and I was able to balance field work and office work, with all individuals involved. ● Though the amount of research work was a lot, I was able to compress all the necessary data and come up with something comprehensive and communicate the project’s objective.

As an associate editor, I managed freelancers ensuring thorough research into assigned topics, and competing deadlines were met with efficiency, as well as proofreading and editing final copy before print.

At Modern Writers, I managed a group of twenty article writers who produced 500 to 1000 word articles for online content, while also engaging clients and retaining productive, amicable work relations.

Taught 13 children (2-9-year-olds) through creative projects, books, educational and fun games, to keep them entertained, develop their curiosity and intellect, and also fostered collaboration between them through playdates for social interaction and physical activity.

As a blogger and features writer covering the entertainment scene entailing film, music, art, and fashion in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, I interviewed African artists in America and generated articles that presented a clear image of their work, style, and art.
