This role had a primary focus on digital communications. With journalism, public relations and communications training, I co-managed the Thames21 website and assisted in maintaining online presence. I did so by sharing posts and engaging with others on various Thames21 social media platforms.I proactively analysed methods for expanding communication with more inclusive audiences including organisations and community groups.My duties also included supporting the communications manager and the Thames21 team with editing and writing articles, large scale documents and press releases. For which, I would support media coverage and active follow ups on Vuelio. I also assisted with key charity engagement and stakeholder events including river clean ups, river restoration, citizen science surveys and invasive plant species management.
