I've worked with numbers extensively during my career, but I've loved reading almost all of my life. Naturally, my favorite part of being an analyst was creating a story out of raw data. It's easy to get lost in an endless spreadsheet, so I enjoy helping my audience focus on the most important metrics, understand the underlying causes, and figure out what to do next. My talents include: budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, financial reporting, financial planning, data analysis, variance analysis, dashboards, tracking KPIs, trend visualization, and leading projects.As a big picture thinker, I have a strong focus on proactive improvement to deliver the best work as efficiently as possible. Over the years I’ve taught myself new skills, such as SQL and Power BI, to add automation into most of my work.
