Helen served as General Counsel for Stax Payments (formerly Fattmerchant, Inc.) which is an all-in-one payments and software platform.

Helen is responsible for the development of all technology initiatives, including the development, implementation and marketing of all web-based investment and financial research tools. SK Research is an investment research firm which provides broker-dealers and financial advisors with the research, critical thinking and analytical resources they need to evaluate the viability, utility and performance of alternative investment programs and their sponsors.

DDWizard was the world's first software integrating the due diligence concepts of data gathering, data review and final report generation into one seamless process. In late 2014, DDWizard was sold to a public financial services company based in NYC.

Helen Martinez serves as Corporate Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs for CNL Capital Markets and CNL Securities Corp., the investment service and brokerage subsidiaries of CNL Financial Group, Inc. (CNL). As the broker-dealer’s senior counsel, Helen oversees all syndicate-related matters including contract review and negotiation, relationship management, due diligence, and compliance in marketing materials. CNL is one of the nation’s largest privately held alternative investment firms. Since its inception CNL and/or its affiliates have formed or acquired companies with more than $24 billion in assets.
