Led the borough’s safeguarding adults duties; leading large scale investigations, serious case reviews, domestic violence homicide reviews, MARAC, MAPPA, quality assurance, deprivation of liberty safeguards, domestic violence support services, hate crime and supported the Safeguarding Adults Board, Domestic and Sexual Violence Strategic Group, Hate Crime Strategic Group and led the design of the multi-agency child exploitation protection panel.

Provided expert community safety advice to mayoral advisors and senior managers including violence against women, prostitution, trafficking, child sexual exploitation, fire and emergency planning, business crime and CCTV. Contract managed Greater London Domestic Violence Project.

Established and oversaw the delivery of the Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy Project, led on the development of Brent Specialist Domestic Violence Magistrates Court, attracted significant inward investment and developed and implemented the boroughs first domestic violence and sexual violence strategy.
