As an Accounts Assistant my role involves managing the company’s accounting systems, providing administrative and financial services in addition to providing support functions to the wider business.*Handle banking responsibilities such as supplier payment runs, account reconciliations, customer receipts, and related transactions.*Purchase Ordering: Oversee the entire purchase ordering process, including posting purchase invoices.*Sales Operations: Manage sales quoting and order processing according to internal guidelines.*Goods Management: Execute goods in and goods out procedures, including stock control and reconciliations.*Invoicing: Prepare invoices up to draft stage and complete all related tasks.*Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers regarding non-technical items or account management issues.*Facilities and Travel: Support facilities management and handle travel and accommodation arrangements as needed.*Client Statements and Debt Management: Run client statements and occasionally manage debt collection, including follow-ups on unpaid invoices.*General Administration: Perform various office administrative tasks as required.*Client Feedback: Capture details of client issues, service needs, feedback, or suggestions, and escalate these appropriately.*Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to existing procedures.*ISO Compliance: Adhere to all integrated ISO management systems and data security protocols.
