RDASA has qualified a need for further research into the benefits that can arise from the new system for NDIS funding. My placement required me to establish what the clients want from RDASA, and also what the service is needed for them to maintain a very much underrated form of "therapeutic benefit".

Researching models of support from around the world that would facilitate a model for the person centred development team for individuals who have little or no support outside of paid staff. The circle would consist of community members and volunteers to help the person gain a better qol.The position demanded good team work and communication and supported the circles facilitator.

Supporting a year 8 student with moderate intellectual difficulties for weekly SOCE class.Organising a post school option day to be held in 2014, involving liaising with organisations and attending a post school option forum involving training parents about the complexities of negotiating the system.Working as a team to create optimistic outcomes for the students.
