Helen is a registered psychologist and yoga teacher and specialises in both trauma and neurodivergence. She has recently published a book called Moving forwards Working Backwards: A strengths based approach to neurodivergence. She works extensively with organisations coaching and training in leadership and developing high performance cultures as well as her clinical work. She has a Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education, as well as a Masters of Counselling. Helen's background as a teacher in high school and as a psychologist with individuals, couples and families has given her a pragmatic and informed set of tools to work with people. Her experience in theatre has taught her how to bring things to life in a learning environment. Her administrative/ management experience, including deputy director role at the Australian College of Applied Psychology, has given her insight into some of the systemic issues organizations face. Helen has delivered a large range of workshops over the past decades, including topics like Stress Management, Time Management, Building more Effective Relationships and Managing Change.Helen has regularly co-facilitated Leadership and Energizing from Conflict training across South East Queensland as a consultant for QUT, working with Queensland Health Staff. For the past sixteen years she has worked with school principals and other education staff offering individual and group coaching and training and leadership development.
