It's easy to forget patients are people and treat them with clinical detachment -as bundles of symptoms or hostages in our system, which puts its own needs over those of patients. Putting patients first takes a shift of mind. We have to treat patients as people and make them feel listened to, understood and really cared for. Remind yourself constantly it's all about them, not me -that's why I'm here. Combining my Nursing background with 15+ years in the Medtech space, I am comfortable meeting (and quite often exceeding) sales revenue targets all with having a patient-centric mindset. I am someone who proactively maintains a detailed, frequently updated and strategic business plan for the territory and ensures my direct reports do the same. Having been a recipient of a number of awards, I have found that presenting realistic sales forecasts to senior management on a consistent basis and developing meaningful relationships with both clinical as well as economic champions within the accounts has been a key driver to my success. I take pride in meeting new and existing customers to best understand their ever-changing needs, and in turn, I am always abreast of capital buying cycles, and funding options outside of the capital budget cycle and identify new technology acquisition processes.
