I have eight years experience within the ecology consultancy sector. During this time I have managed the successful delivery of a diverse range of building development and renovation schemes and have contributed to the implementation of numerous high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK. I have developed specialist protected species expertise, holding Natural England Survey Class Licences for bats, great crested newts and dormice, and responsible for the implementation of EPS Mitigation Licences. I am also a highly competent botanist and registered Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor.I have a thorough understanding of local and national planning policy, and wildlife legislation as well as knowledge of broader ecosystems services and cross-sector approaches to environmental issues. My logical approach, communication and organisational skills and committed work ethic are greatly valued within multi-disciplinary project teams tasked with complex contracts.
