Oversees the day-to-day financial activities including tracking and auditing financial information, analyzing financial records and transactions, and managing the accounting team members. In charge of implementing policies and procedures that ensure the accounting department remains efficient and submits accurate work. Advise executives on important financial decisions to keep the company financial stable. Build and determine effective strategies to help the organization to achieve financial goals by analyzing and interpreting various data sets, keeping and improving the overall financial health of the business by the financial plans run smoothly once implemented. • Bookkeeper duties as assigned• Experienced with various accounting software • Bank accounts, Credit Cards and other accounts reconciliation• Full cycle payroll, A/P and A/R• Government remittances such as HST, payroll deductions and WSIB. • GL, sub-ledger and all journals maintained• Period-end and year-end financial statements preparation for various clients • Personal tax preparation• Other duties as assigned
