About Helen Wright
Following 24 years of my working life in the Finance industry, predominantly in the area of Property Development, my love for sport and in particular Rugby League drew me to volunteering for a local junior rugby league club in the Penrith District firstly as a team manager and over the years in various volunteer positions from member of the general committee followed by Volunteers Coordinator, Asst Treasurer, Registrar and Club Secretary. Securing a full time, paid position in Penrith Junior Rugby League changed the course of my career. For the next 7 years I spent managing competitions and membership for the largest junior association in rugby league. Drawing on the experience gained as a volunteer at grassroots my knowledge and skills developed under a mentor who is extremely knowledgeable and respected in rugby league.Joining the NRL in 2007, and currently holding the position of Digital Services Education and Support Manager.I am passionate about Rugby League and driving change through education.My goal is to design and deliver engaging education programs and learning experiences and to provide unparalleled support to volunteers and staff using all NRL digital products.
