Organizing and coordinating all activities leading up to the launch, construction, and inauguration of new CEFA early learning schools across Canada and the US.

As the 1st expansion staff covering the North American market; I carried out the franchise strategies for Maple Bear Early Childcare Centres and K-12 schools, developed and implemented the Maple Bear franchise expansion and new franchise onboarding. With the whole team’s efforts, we made the successful market entry in the US, signed the 1st franchise contract in 10 months, and total 4 franchise contracts in 2 years.In addition to franchise sales, I assisted new franchisees in the new school planning, facilitation, project management, on-boarding, and mentoring in the new school opening. Overseeing the implementation process to ensure that everything is running smoothly, devising action and work plans, coordinating with different departments, monitoring requisitions and information materials, and verifying their accuracy.

 Assist the CEO to deal with all potential investment projects, communicate with clients to confirm the business plan. Be responsible for the investment project's implementation, manage and track the project progress, coordinate external and internal partners to deliver the project successfully. Search and contact potential partners to explore the cooperation opportunity. Assist the CEO to manage the other subsidiary company's business.

 In charge of the business development strategy and planning of Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins in China, Japan & Korea market. Every year total over 400 stores opening. Achieving the successful China market entry for Dunkin to establish the brand awareness and foundation. Regular visits to all covered regions, to review business plan, assess stores operation and performance, observe opportunity/ concern, internal and external communication improvements. Lead the development and execution of a regional development strategy, new market mapping and entry, the identification and selection of high-quality franchisees/licensees. Provide on-going coaching to franchisees, ensure the good understanding of all aspects of the business. Develop and implement new best practices. Collaborate with cross functions in terms of supply chain, R&D, food safety and marketing, etc. to strategically grow sales. Provide guidance and feedback with the marketing plan, marketing calendar, product testing and budget development for successful execution.  Track progress towards timely completion of new stores throughout the region, working with franchisee partners to ensure building appropriate pipeline and managing development effectively.

 Set up brand market strategy and development plan by organizing comprehensive information of brand positioning, population, traffic, affluence, etc.  Lead China leasing team (6 persons), collaborate with cross functions in terms of operation, marketing, construction, legal and finance to reach development goal (over 20 new stores/ year).  Responsible for all contract renewal, relocation, offering strong support to store operation.  Solid relationship with real estate brokers, shopping center developers, governmental authorities.

 Set up company business development strategy and development plan for north region of China, and establish the strategy cooperation with major real estate company.  Lead project negotiation and implementation to open over 5 new stores every year.  Responsible for new market mapping and entry, collaborate closely with cross functions in terms of legal, operation, merchandise, etc. to deliver high quality store.

 Re-positioning brand in China market and set up the mid to long term development strategy plan.  Lead team to open 5-10 new stores every year and achieve very optimistic sales.  Maintain existing store in good situation, keep good connection with landlord for smooth operation. Cooperate with operation, marketing to measure the store performance, analyze trade zone, mapping market, and focus on target market.

 Responsible for the market research work covering 25 of tier 1 & 2 cities of north and northeast region, to set up the development strategy for Tesco in north and northeast region.  Completed the initial research reports for 200+ projects, Board Meeting reports for 50+ projects, and customer survey for 16 stores to establish the strong foundation for north region development work.  Responsible for sales forecast and financial investment model, establish the competitor stores database and our data pool Pre and post opening analysis on new opening store to correct our forecast and evaluation.

Carrefour China Great North TerritoryDuty Brief:Prepare expansion planning of Carrefour China Great North Territory. Check suitable sites and recommend positive site for new stores to company, negotiate with landlord for agreement terms.Assist Expansion Director in project coordination and management. Assist in drafting relative expansion procedure documents and powerpoint reports. Track the competitors' turnover and expansion action. Collect information from both Carrefour and competitors (inclusive international and local brands)' projects and stores for our database. Update information and analysis for finance and management level. Main Work Done:Attend 9 new stores construction and opening in Beijing, Shenyang, Dalian, Harbin and Jinan.Negotiate for Shenyang #4 store and Harbin #4 store to reach signature of agreement.Extend into new market such as Daqing, Anshan, Changchun, Jilin, Lanzhou, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan and so on.
