Hello! I am Helena Beasley and I am a senior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. I am majoring in Global Business with a concentration in Digital Media and Technology and minoring in Economics. I was born in Tanzania but have grown up moving to places such as Tampa, Detroit, Mainz, and New Haven, thus gaining an appreciation for a wide variety of cultures and my ability to adapt to new situations.On campus, I am involved with the Gabelli Undergraduate Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Board where I serve as President across both campuses. Additionally, I participate in the leadership club, Lincoln Center Society, where I act as an ambassador and give tours to prospective Fordham students and families.I am eager to learn more about the intersection of technology and finance. My career interests include working within healthcare or technology in a financial space. Through the different positions I have held, I have cultivated leadership skills such as thorough interpersonal communication and problem management. I would love to collaborate with a group of diverse people as I highly value incorporating a large variety of perspectives to my solutions. Outside of school, I enjoy exploring the multitude of museums and art exhibitions New York City has to offer.
