Since before I can remember, I have been a lover of animals. Big, small, feisty, or calm. Of all of the magical beasts of the world, horses are my truest of love. Growing up I sought out every single book, every movie, and everyday dream of the equine world. I wondered what it would be like to photograph their beauty on my hot pink Nikon Coolpix camera and wrote tale after tale of the wild adventures me and my trusty steed would go. I am in love with storytelling. Being able to listen to people and take their woes, pain points, and desires, and turn them into reality. Working in customer service settings throughout my life allowed me to be able to do these things for people, whether it was in a rural veterinary office chicken scratching down details of an emergency call, or at a hardware store, helping customers find the perfect product needed for their home renovation. It only made sense to pursue my love of animals by going to college for pre-veterinary studies. Then the pandemic happened. My pre-vet education took a 360 pivot and I was left wondering about the uncertainties. I felt a pullback to the love I have for helping people and telling stories. I switched my major to Marketing Communications and in one short year after, I graduated. I am beyond grateful to say that I have the most incredible job working for the marketing agency that took me in as an intern the summer prior. Here I work hand in hand with many talented individuals who teach me and shape me into the associate account executive I am today. Always learning something new. Always listening. Always wanting to help everyone. This is me.
