Responsible for the forecast, projections and budget for the Event Management department of the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. This includes catering, IT, electrical, rental, security, and miscellaneous revenue.

I am Administrative Assistant to Director of Event Management and Director of Convention Services. I manage and balance the Check Book and pay invoices for department, a total of $93 million in revenue. I am Office Manager for Event Management Department, a team of over 70 people. I update Group Rooms Projection Sheets weekly using OneYield System, participating in Projections Meeting. I Update and Maintain Group Hotel financial records for over 3,800 room blocks representing $90mil in 2015. I supervise 10 and assist in hiring and training administrative assistants in the Convention Services Department. I manage PTO and Time & Attendance for Convention Services Department

I was Admin Assistant to Convention Services Manager and Catering Manager. I assisted in servicing over 50 groups up to 1700 room nights on peak. I created, distributed and made revisions to event orders and event checks. I managed affiliates, including communication with clients to discuss space, food and beverage, audio visual and IT needs, room set up and payment. I arrange transportation, amenities, meeting room set up, group resumes, and conference planning agendas. I trained new administrative assistants in CI/TY processes and other administrative tasks.

Manage groups and billing for groups prior, during and post event. Conduct bill reviews with client while they are in-house. Ensure payment of bills within a 30 day period to maintain a clean aging report.
