Unafraid of change, unfazed and just getting on with it, my career has taken different paths and moulded me into the person I am today, open minded, enthusiastic, determined with a sense for challenge. After having worked as a hairdresser for five years, I successfully hopped a few times to change career direction for the first time. I got into Nissan Technical Centre in R&D where I grew a lot. R&D’s role was to design and develop (D&D) Nissan models for the European market. I worked with a team on the budget for the D&D for these vehicles. I consolidated business competence, and learnt and understood the complexity of vehicle development. I worked closely with colleagues in Europe and Japan on process improvement efficiency. This enabled the engineers in Europe to easily respond to our requests whilst being able to concentrate on their core tasks of designing or testing. In turn we could respond with confidence to our parent company in Japan and gain more work at a competitive cost in Europe.Switching again I made the move from the UK to Italy, (Milan) where I stayed for 10 years teaching and coaching for the English language. After the first phase of Covid-19 I moved again, this time to the Netherlands. Taking a couple of bridge jobs to see myself through the worst of the pandemic I eventually managed to get back into language training as a language assistant in Christelijk Lyceum in Zeist (CLZ). In addition to CLZ I also teach English as a foreign language to adults for Babel.I have been continuously learning and growing, listening and understanding. I'm comfortable working in demanding and varied roles. While I express my opinion openly I encourage an exchange of opinions, as this is the best way for self and company improvement.
