Responsible for all aspects of Canada's Winter Sport Legacy exhibit development, curation, installation, administration, project staff management, contractor liaison, and exhibit dismantle. Exhibit comprised of 20 artefacts and was curated, produced, and installed within two weeks and displayed for a month at the Edison Building during Chinook Blast 2021.

Becoming the Manager of Exhibits and Collections has meant stepping into a project management role overseeing large exhibit and collections projects while continuing all administrative duties related to collections management and exhibits.

My role covered the whole spectrum of any responsibility involving artefacts. The specific duties covered were collections manager (managing a collection of more than 100,000 items), registrar, collections technician, image requests contact, curator, exhibit production, exhibit installer, curatorial staff management, training, intern and student mentorship. I handled any pest control duties required during the day such as catching and disposing of insects. I've had the great opportunity to take part in event planning and volunteer management for two major annual fundraising events, the Sport + Spirit Charity Gala and the Induction Dinner Festival, as well as general special event planning such as conferences, volunteer appreciation, and Calgary Heritage events. These events required the managing of between 10-40 volunteers, depending on the event.

Worked within the Army Museum of Alberta collections on collections management tasks with the majority of duties on cataloguing (CFAMS), photographing, numbering, and relocating artefacts. Additional duties included maintaining hygrothermographs, collections and exhibit dusting, and monitoring for pests. Curated temporary exhibit for display at Spruce Meadows. Exhibit was used for other events after the conclusion of the Spruce Meadows season.

Worked within both Cultural History and Military History collections in areas of collections management. Majority of duties focused on cataloguing backlogged collections into STAR museum database, numbering, and relocating artefacts.

Provided customer service to all guests. Created merchandise displays. Opening and closing duties.

Called members of the public to conduct surveys.
