Helena Mitchell is the Head of the Consumer Protection: Strategy & Insurance at the Central Bank of Ireland. She has over 30 years’ experience in Central Banking/Financial Regulation and has held a number of senior roles in consumer protection, enforcement and prudential supervision. Helena also worked in the European Central Bank in Frankfurt for a number of years, on a secondment to its Internal Finance Directorate. Helena holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Services, together with a number of related qualifications in financial services from the Institute of Banking, the Professional Diploma in Compliance from the Compliance Institute, the Diploma in Corporate Governance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and most recently completed the Executive Strategy Programme at Oxford University, Said Business School.
