Growth Program focuses on the following segments: waste-to-energy, bioenergy, renewables, smart grids and smart buildings. There is a specific project for Smart Energy China under this program. Main target markets are the emerging markets. Growth Program support sFinnish companies in their internationalization challenges (export, invest in, capital). Success is measured with increased sales and exports. Activities include e.g. market studies, compiling the Finnish offering, identification of potential clients and partners, B2B meetings, site visits, sectoral seminars, visits to Finland, training for e.g. value proposition, sales pitch. Other circular economy related tasks include active role in the steering groups for Innovative Bioproducts and Biotechnologies Growth Programme as well as Agrotechnology Growth Programme. Deputy representative of Finpro for National Bioeconomy panel led Minister Rehn. HHJ (Hyväksytty hallituksen jäsen/Board member) course, autumn 2015.

Responsibilities include client (foreign companies) consulting on cleantech/bioeconomy field. The development and crystallization of the Finnish market potential is an essential part of the work. Co-operation with the Finnish innovation and invest in network is crucial.

Team Leader, Global Project Advisory Team focusing on projects financed by the development financiers like World Bank, African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, EU’s External Aid. Target was to identify business potential for Finnish companies in these markets. Also, conducted several training sessions for companies in this area.
