In the SME group at WMG I led our sustainable manufacturing programme helping manufacturers create a plan for net-zero. This included benchmarking assessments, workshops, visits and roadmapping activities.Additionally, I delivered improvemnt projects focusing on life cycle assessment, waste reduction, resource utilisation, greenhouse gas reporting and carbon footprinting.Finally, I hosted a sustainable manufacturing webinar for small manufacturers to learn more about specific topics and tools to reduce emissions in manufacturing businesses.

The Automotive Structural Composites Group at WMG, University of Warwick works closely with material suppliers, component manufacturers and OEMs within the automotive industry to deliver industry relevant research. Research capabilities and collaborative projects focus on making technological step changes to advance composites manufacturing processes with the goal of making them suitable for high volume automotive applications.I joined WMG at the University of Warwick in 2013; working alongside industry to identify light weighting solutions for high volume automotive applications. I specialised in Composite materials and investigated the use of discontinuous carbon fibre composites in high volume applications. My work developed the manufacturing processes of preforming and compression moulding as well as using mechanical and thermal techniques to analyse and validate the mouldings.One project, the manufacture of a composite suspension component for Ford Motor Company received the 2018 JEC Innovation Award in the category of automotive application.

Currently working in the Composites discipline of Materials Engineering; supporting detail manufacture for multiple aircraft programmes both on site and at sub-contractors

Working to establish process capability and reach process control to reduce cost and non-conformance in production of aircraft components.
