I have had the privilege of serving as the General Managerof Mounthawk Montessori School and Busy Bees Nursery in Tralee since 1999. My journey inthe field of early childhood education has been both rewarding and transformative, and I amexcited to share my personal statement with you. During my tenure, I have overseen the growth and development of our school and nursery,from a small, humble establishment to a thriving educational institution. It has been a labour of love to watch the children under our care blossom into confident, curious individuals, eager to explore the world around them.One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role has been the opportunity to work closely with ourdedicated team of educators. Together, we have fostered a culture of collaboration andcontinuous learning, always seeking innovative ways to enhance the educational experiencefor our students. It is immensely satisfying to see our educators evolve and grow alongside thechildren they teach.In addition to our incredible team, our partnership with parents and the wider community hasbeen instrumental in our success. Building strong relationships with families has been acornerstone of our approach, as we believe that a child's education is a collaborative effortbetween school and home. We have always encouraged open communication and activeinvolvement from parents, making them feel like valued partners in their child's learningjourney. As a Montessori practitioner, I have always been committed to the principles and philosophyof Maria Montessori. Our curriculum is designed to respect the individuality of each child,allowing them to explore their interests, develop their unique talents, and cultivate a love forlearning that will serve them well throughout their lives.Over the years, I have witnessed countless success stories, where children who started theireducational journey with us have gone on to excel academically and socially.
