Utilize a global team of associates from Equifax and IBM from US, Canada, UK, Spain and S. America. Also include any new country or service that is added to the Global IBM contract and may also include new Acquisitions. Implement global tools, training, processes, & reporting mechanisms designed to deliver world-class service in a consistent and measurable manner. Avp - Business Development ReengineeringEquifax Feb 1997 - Oct 2003Direct and oversee the re-engineering team (18+ associates) responsible for the business strategy, business requirements and all quality assurance testing for two multi-million dollar projects: DataQA and New Data Enterprise. DataQA and NDE represent the largest re-engineering efforts ever attempted by Equifax to replace the existing front-end customer data mgmt system and the heartbeat of Equifax called ACRO for consumer reporting. Direct and oversee all the cross-functional project plans. Implement processes and procedures that follow the Software Development Life Cycle. Facilitate monthly executive Steering Committee meetings to review the key deliverables, project plan variations, risk factors, project issues and financial considerations. Manage the multi-million dollar re-engineering team budget. DataQA was implemented successfully during 2000; NDE was terminated late in 2001 due to an executive decision to discontinue the project. Transition and reallocation of NDE resources continued through 2002 as new projects such as SBE and CDC were initiated. Management responsibilities included hiring new talent, providing motivation and team leadership to drive significant change. Resources included direct reports, part-time associates, consultants and the first-time ever establishment of resource augmentation/outsourcing with India. Project Management included work plans and delivery schedules across a multitude of departments to establish integration across all impacted systems.
