Rising to the top and overcoming not only my strengths and weaknesses, but also tasks among my peers and co-workers is one of my greatest strengths. I always strive to be the best and accomplish the most within my environment. In my part-time job as a brand ambassador, we have to sell so many of certain things in a specific timeframe. If I stay focused, I always rise to the top and not only sell the most, but I do it quicker and add more to the sales. Leading is also where I thrive best. It’s not that I like being in control, it’s helping others reach their full potential effectively and efficiently. At one of my previous jobs, if they needed advice on how to get something done or didn’t know what to do in a specific situation, I was the person they always came to. This is because I can see where people thrive and how to help them better themselves. To this day, my employers always say I’m irreplaceable and the best employee they’ve ever had because I knew how to do things right and lead others in the same direction.I may not know exactly what I want to do, but I know what I want to accomplish. I am currently interested in pharmaceutical sales for multiple reasons. I want to understand what people want or don’t, and why, but also their thought process behind their decisions when purchasing items. This can also be done remotely, giving me the opportunity to travel with work to determine how different cultures and different types of people operate. With knowing more about the decision-making process, I can relate with people and where they’re coming from, and also compel them to buy certain items. I am interested in sales because I am a very persuasive person and I know how to connect with people personally in order to get them to buy what I’m offering, even if they don’t necessarily want or need it.
