The demand for technical skills will continue to increase. If Sweden is to retain its strong position as a country at the forefront, more young people need to be inspired to choose an engineering career.Tekniksprånget (“Tech Leap”) is an internship program developed to secure future needs of engineering competence, by inspiring upper secondary school graduates, especially women, in pursuing a degree in engineering. We are working closely together with our participating partners with the objective of developing their value from taking part in Tekniksprånget (Tech Leap). The goal is that each partner sees the internship program as an integral part of their talent acquisition in the long and short term. During the past years Tekniksprånget (Tech leap) has giving the participating employers an opportunity to start building an early relationship with ambitious possible future coworkers. In my position as Sales Manager, I examine growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product development, and taking responsibility for Tekniksprångets (Tech Leap) performance against target.Together we are encouraging more young people to become engineers and strengthening Sweden’s future supply of talent.

We’re living in times with an ever increasing global competition and a rapid development of technology. A key factor in order to stay competitive is competence. Therefore, the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) has initiated two internship programs – Tekniksprånget and Jobbsprånget – to meet current and future recruitment needs in Sweden.Tekniksprånget (“Tech Leap”) is developed to secure future needs of engineering competence, by inspiring upper secondary school graduates in pursuing a degree in engineering. Jobbsprånget (”Job Leap”) speeds up the process of newcomer academics entering the Swedish job market. The program provides employers with an easy way to exploit the potential of university graduates who have recently arrived in Sweden.In my position as Client Relationship Manager and Team Leader , I work together with our participating partners with the objective of developing their value from taking part in Tekniksprånget (Tech Leap) and Jobbsprånget (Job Leap). The goal is that each partner sees the two internship programs as an integral part of their talent acquisition in the long and short term.
