I was assigned the task of developing what was previously known as a budget 3* hotel to a luxury high-end 4* boutique hotel. With a mission of becoming the leading independent, boutique hotel in Ireland, providing high end luxury customer experiences always.Develop and drive all elements of the business from midweek corporate business to weekend leisure business.Branding is key to the hotel, I managed and developed the #STAYUNIQUE Montenotte Hotel and sub brands to the highest standards. This included online media platforms as well as key partnership opportunities for the property.A large focus for the hotel was the luxury residential incentive business and a strong relationship with Tourism Ireland has been developed to focus on emerging markets. Creating unique events for clients and targeting sectors that fit the hotels target market well, such as Tech, Pharma and Beauty. Being creative with corporate events, it is not about selling a meeting room, it is about selling an experience and delivering. To meet with monthly and yearly targets and budgets for the hotel. As the hotel has very much a corporate property my role was to continue to maintain and grow the corporate business of the hotel with a main focus on the Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Midlands area and increase the leisure market business for both midweek and weekend trade. The hotel is now managed by Dalata Management Services which is the parent company of the largest hotel group in Ireland boasting 28 hotels with whom I worked closely with on an ongoing basis selling all properties through sales/telesales calls, promotions, online marketing and networking events. Completing weekly and monthly sales/Conference & Banqueting/General Managers/Corporate Tracker/Website Tracker/Revenue Reports all assisting in the monitoring of sales in all areas of the property. To assist with increasing the hotels profile locally and build relationships with local business people I became a member of the Laois Chamber of Commerce, Laois Network, Board Director of Laois Tourism assisting with the creation of a new website, newly created TV advert to be launched in March 2011 and currently compiling a Laois Visitors Guide. I was also a member of the International Rose of Tralee Regional Final Committee, Board Director of the Laois Tourism Marketing Committee.
