˗ˏˋ UX designer based in Calgary, designing mobile-first experiences and accessible interfaces ˎˊ˗With my interdisciplinary background in computer science and psychology, I design digital experiences that better align with users' perception and cognitive processes, I conduct more effective user research and testing, and I collaborate with developers more efficiently during (and beyond) handoff. I'm passionate about building community and promoting design thinking. In 2022, I co-founded ProtoJam: Alberta's first and largest UX/UI designathon, to foster Edmonton's design community and solve real-world challenges through design thinking and technology. My passion for design extends to developing and facilitating design workshops. I've led several workshops on Figma, design principles, and accessibility, for students and designers in Calgary, Edmonton, and all over North America. These workshops have helped me improve both my own technical and soft skills, and I'm excited to further develop my skills and make an impact in the design community!Outside of design, I sing in youth choirs and professional-style ensembles throughout Alberta. I'm also desperately trying to move up from the Obsidian League on Duolingo.
