WHAT MOTIVATES ME AT WORK?TEAM GROWTH AND FULFILLMENT. I believe in consistent self-improvement, both as a manager, and for my team. I’ve gained many insights from my management trainings over the years, including: Belbin, Myers-Briggs, and most recently the Herrmann HBDI, which I've incorporated into my communication style. These types of trainings inspired me to create and facilitate multiple training sessions on a variety of subjects for both my direct reports and larger cross-functional teams, with the goal of better communication, fulfillment, and productivity at work.ITERATIVE, DATA-DRIVEN IMPROVEMENTS THAT MAXIMIZE EFFICIENCIES AND REVENUE. I believe that the only way to fail is to not try, and what is perceived as “failure” by many is really just a learning for what to do better next time. I am a certified Scrum Product Owner who responds quickly to customers’ real-world needs, and practices fast deployment to gain market advantage and reduce risk through rapid iteration. I study the data before making decisions on where to head next, and prioritize retrospectives to make sure the team continuously feels our process is efficient and streamlined.USING TECHNOLOGY TO OPTIMIZE THE REMOTE EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE.The pivot to remote work in the past few years have been an exciting time of problem-solving, flexibility, change, and education. I believe that there is no facet of office work or culture that can't be recreated remotely, and an integral part of my job is to identify those challenges and implement a process or technology solution.
