A role that draws on skills built over the last many years including project management, quality assurance, continuous improvement, writing and analysis. Systematiq is a flexible and agile business delivering large, complex projects. My role grew to become focused on leading teams on ASDEFCON tender responses, and supporting business to access support through the DIH and CDIC.

Working with business in the areas of medical education, patient education, primary healthcare, doctor's own health and wellbeing. This draws together my skills and experience in marketing, digital marketing, change management and innovation.

Identifying, managing and developing relationships for the College to develop and deliver projects that benefit members. This role swept across the RACGP, working closely with the teams to identify opportunities that work for all organisations involved. The role draws upon my marketing and communication skills, ability to draw seemingly disparate threads together to create something new and change management skills.

Managing an energetic and creative team to produce quality publications. - peer-reviewed monthly journal - magazine with a focus on the business of work and that all important work/life balance- College guidelines, standards and other publications.

Managing a small group of clients in a range of activities including media relations, website development and social media networking.

Short term contract role to develop documentation to support establishing a tertiary institution in Botswana

My role encompassed strategic business management;• creating an internal resource, developing plans for each product over a 12 month cycle ensuring a cohesive business approach• preparing the tender document for a major opportunity (successful)• managing the creation of a new website (the project had been in development for about two years and had lost its way)• project managing development and implementation of new software affecting every part of the business (developing systems and documentation to support the project and get it back on track)• managing cross-organisation teams to develop products

Students with practical experience are most value in the industry and are best placed to learn valuable skills. With this in mind, I sourced clients with realistic communication projects and supervised students to meet objectives. Students organised fundraising events (the first year raised nearly $20,000 for six charities), written grant documents, prepared event kits, run media campaigns and worked on website, film and database projects.I taught a broad range of subjects covering public relations and its specialist areas (including financial relations, employee communication, crisis communication and lobbying), strategic business planning, media campaigns and writing to meet media needs, persuasive writing, team effectiveness, and grant, tender and sponsorship proposals

EDFV’s client base is particularly sensitive. It was vital that I understood their needs in order to avoid unintentional harm. On my first day in the role, the results of a major research project were released. This research provided valuable information for instigating media coverage and formed the basis of an effective media campaign as well as providing evidence for a significant grant submission.  • Short term role to cover leave of absence• Media relations, grants preparation and submission, newsletter preparation• Required a rapid grasp of the vision and values of the Foundation in order to respond effectively to opportunities.
