I'm Content Director of Mohawk Media. We create animations with an impact on the health, science and tech sectors and eLearning content. I've been a Technology Correspondent on Radio NZ since 2006, and was the strategist for the Big Idea creative community. I have been a XMediaLab Mentor, sat on the advisory boards for Digital NZ, Tohatoha Aotearoa (CC-NZ), and judged the Yahoo! NZ Digital Strategy Awards. I delivered the UK's first accredited internet training course in 1997 for the University of Cambridge (UCLES) and have lectured at media and design schools across the UK and the South Pacific. I have been a Teaching Fellow for professional practice and online identity at the School of Design Innovation (Victoria University of Wellington).Before launching my company, I was the founding Editor of KnowledgeBoard, an award-winning international community for Knowledge Management & Innovation run by the European Commission. KnowledgeBoard was voted Best of the Web by the Harvard Business Review (2002) and Best User Experience in the International Information Industry Awards (2003). Debra Amidon, author of The Innovation Superhighway, called KnowledgeBoard, 'one of the 20 most significant milestones in the development of the Knowledge Economy'.I have also been a Twisted Radio DJ, VJ and presenter of theg33kshow on Alt TV and Kiwi FM. When I'm out of the studio I enjoy Muay Thai, Axe Throwing, and Diving.
