Inspired a demotivated and disparate department to become a highly co-ordinated, strong and collaborative team with greatly improved exam results and ingenious solutions adopted by other departments across the school.Led the creation of an automatic planner using Excel to plan lessons from a scheme of work and produce an equipment spreadsheet for the technician.Redeveloped departmental meetings to be in-depth discussions of teaching and learning strategies and successes and creative solutions to current issues as opposed to administrative tasks, which were reassigned to email.Led the development of a digital teaching lab to provide blended learning for students during the covid-19 crisis.Used analysis of student data including homework, tests and exams finding trends and isolating the students and staff for whom support would have the greatest effect driving a 10% improvement in exam results.Drove introduction of online homework system across the sciences and developed policy to engage students, staff, and parents positively with the approach.Run clinics to support students during lunchtimes and lunch clubs including Isaac Physics (enthusing the most able with current research topics) and Physics with Tea (encouraging the development of support networks for students).

Graduate Teacher Programme: Achieved excellent in all trainee teacher standards whilst teaching part-time and providing short-term cover for a full-time Physics teacher.
