Anyone in an earshot of me knows that I am an entrepreneur at heart from growing up in a family business - auto paint, body and repair and my mom and dad were college professors for years. From this base, I learned attention to detail, embraced reading, and enjoyed working in the "shop" honing my business and mechanical skills.I later took my love of working on cars and matriculated at Prairie View A&M University in the College of Mechanical Engineering where geniuses were blooming.Once having my BSME in hand, I began my long career in Corporate America working for some of the best fortune 500 companies such as Baxter Healthcare to Occidental Petroleum and on to the Jack Welch controlled General Electric. I was a road warrior during my corporate days traveling across 48 US states, throughout Canada, Central America and other countries.In the early 2000's, my long-planted seeds of entrepreneurship began to sprout, and I started Bradlink LLC, a technical services firm providing design assistance, project management and construction support services primarily in public markets like transit, aviation, etc. Bradlink has and continues to work on major transit and airport projects.In 2016, I founded PermitUsNow, a building permitting firm that helps architects, contractors and project owners to obtain permits in a timely manner and allow clients to do what they prefer to do and that's build their customer's dreams. PermitUsNow takes the pain away and is transforming the state of building permitting in North America. We are the only permitting firm that has been featured in an H-E-B commercial, we are the only permitting firm highlighted in the official NFL Super bowl 51 Commemorative Magazine for pulling permits that made a key impact and thrilled to be the go-to permit expediter for many large airport concessionaires.In addition, to leading my business empire, I am a published author, gifted speaker, and I am known as being a point guard in the business community connecting folks. I have served on many industry boards such as with Chambers, APTA's BMBG, served as a State of Texas Commissioner of TDLR (appointed by Governor Abbott) and currently in a Board role with NAMC Central Texas.
