This role was TUPE from previous erskine bridge hotel role, however when pandemic hit, we were required to be more flexible within our roles. Not only did I work within reservations before lockdown in April 2020, when we returned I was required to use my skills that I had learned through working at the hotel in the leisure department and reception as well as reservations, sales and events

Initially starting out with mainly reservations tasks, I quickly adapted into the role of sale agents, where I was required to promote additional upsells for the hotel. I was then asked to focus on hotel events under the supervision of our events manager by assisting with balancing events Contracts for both private functions - such as weddings, meeting spaces - to public events like our monthly party nights and regular bookings. On February 2019, I successfully gained the position of leisure club manager at the Hallmark Hotel Glasgow, manager by Mosaic spa and health clubs. Unfortunately, my health deteriorated shortly after commencing my employment and after much consideration and discussion with my doctors, I decided to step down from the position to focus on my health and well-being

After returning to my position, I was quickly promoted to leisure club supervisor. This included extra responsibility such as staff management, stock ordering and management, managing budgeting and revenue. I also was put I charge of sales and marketing of the club. This included updating the leisure section of our website, promoting our social media pages to increase sales and creating all the advertising literature for the leisure club

Styles taught include Tap, modern, ballet, majorette, disco and street with all teachers trained to BATD teaching standards as a minimum requirement as well as PVG Registered, child protection certified and basic first aid training.
